Sound Performance by Miguel Abras

Miguel Abras, Lisbon-born musician and poet from the 90s, is engendered in the multi-polarization of the capital's SCENE, open to a wide range of repertoires; from pop to noise, through which he honed his techniques of techno-lyrical manipulation. His artistic résumé includes collaborative works — cafetra, farpas, heroína, putas bêbadas, caveira, scorpions, david maranha, gabriel ferrandini, alexandre estrela, sei miguel, fala mariam — that intertwine with his solo composition work. There was a brief foray into theatre — marco martins, patricia portela — which allowed him to explore compositional gestures of extended technique.

Sunday, March 1st, the musician performs on the B-flat clarinet, over the cistern of Figura Avulsa's courtyard.
