Natalie Häusler (*1983) is a Berlin based artist and poet.
She holds an MFA in Painting from Bard College – Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts, New York and an MFA in Painting and Sculpture from the University of Fine Arts Braunschweig.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, including Kunstverein Bielefeld; Noplace, Oslo; Supportico Lopez, Berlin; Combo, Córdoba; PS122 Gallery, New York; Municipal Gallery of Lisbon; ICA, London; KM – Halle für Kunst & Medien, Graz; Mendes Wood DM, São Paulo; Hacienda, Zürich; Raven Row, London; Kunstverein Nürnberg; Herman Nitsch Museum, Naples; KIT/Kunsthalle Duesseldorf; Nurture Art Foundation, New York; Kunsthalle Ravensburg, Goethe Institut, New York Library and Kunstverein Hannover.
Her book “A Virus Can be on a Mussel [...]” was published in 2014 by Mousse. In 2018 she was an artist-in-residence at the Villa Aurora in Los Angeles.
She has received grants from Hans and Charlotte Krull Stiftung; BAU Institute, NY for the Camargo Foundation, Cassis; Berlin Senate Stipend for Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris; DAAD Study Scholarship, New York; MFA Scholarship, Bard College, New York; Byrd Hoffman Watermill Foundation Scholarship, Long Island and the Arthur Boskamp Stiftung Emerging Artist Award. In 2018 she received a travel and grant from the Special Collections & Archives Library, UC San Diego. Currently she is an artist-in-residence at AIR351 in Cascais.
